Avie Banks is a busy wife and mother of two who resides outside of
Charlotte, NC. Avie has worked in the clinical research industry for over 18 years conducting conference trainings and leading major
groundbreaking research trials. She is also an active member of her local chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. After having her second premature child and the successful follow-up and
outpouring of support from her daily blog of her experience, the book “Ninety-Five Days in the NICU” was born.
Avie and her family are avid supporters of the March of Dimes that
focuses on reducing premature births. This book has been another opportunity to share with the world one of her best gifts — her children!
